Not Trains But........

I am on call with my NHS volunteer work all day, every day, at the moment so I can not do any real work on my lay out or figure painting because my phone can go off at any time. I have however been adding a few finishing touches and doing repairs to a few of my models.

Just so I can still contribute a little to this fab site here are a couple of photo's of my Vickers Mk VI Light tank and a Matilda Mk II in Western Desert Caunter camo. This scheme was used from November 1940 to late 1941.
Vickers is a Bronco Model kit, the Matilda is by Tamiya. Both have some after market extras added, I have ordered scenic bases for them and still need to add extra stowage.

They are both painted in the 'Caunter' colour scheme which I have always liked the look of. I tend to go for the more early war tanks just so I can have some thing different to the countless Sherman, Tigers, Panthers and Panzer IV's that seem to be so popular amongst AFV modellers.

John :)

Thank you Brian.

Model railways are my first love for sure.

I am only delivering medical equipment, medical supplies prescriptions and phoning lonely people. Mrs PT is a carer and only got her PPE Friday, I am still having to hold my breath lol.

I have seen first hand just how stretched and stressed hospital staff are, still under equipped and always under paid.

Every one who is staying home and sticking to the rules are helping the NHS, every one can do their bit. ;)

Another military modeller dabbler :). Why not, I post my military and other stuff.

Nicely done John - are these 1/35 or 1/48 scale?

Thank you sir.

They are 1/35th. I have a 1/48th Mk 1a Spitfire, Mk 1 Hurricane and Mk1 Bolton Paul Defiant to build, heaven only knows when lol.

Hi again John.

We had a visit from your alter ego yesterday. There was a ring on the doorbell and there was a lady from the village with my regular meds which she'd picked up from the Dispensary at the doctor's surgery some miles away. I'd not even requested it - the kindness sometimes takes your breath away.

Keep you and your wife well.

Brian
