On Saturday 11th May please help me make a great day out on the SVR for a very deserving gentleman.

One of my friends tragically lost his son to brain cancer and has now recently suffered the loss of his wife of 60 years. The gentleman in question is a really lovley guy, one of the nicest people it has ever been my privilege to know

I would love to be able to give him a day to remember and with your help I know we can.

What I would like to organise is a day out on and along the SVR, I know that you can reserve coaches and thought it would be great if I could get a good sized group of fellow O gauge modelers/train enthusiasts together to do this.
I am going to try to get him a foot plate ride and guided tour of Highly Station Engine Shed too, if I can.

Please let me know if you can come along on Saturday 11th May. Meet in Kidderminster SVR car park by token machines 09:00
If you would like my mobile number please contact me by PM or email.

Thank you, John :)

Tickets are at a reduced rate of £18.50 per adult for a Day Freedom Of The Line.

SVR Members/Share Holders will get their normal concessions.

I will need to know who is coming and reserve the seats not later than 4 weeks before.

I will pay the bill and then collect every one's money on the day.

We will catch the 10:25 to Bridgnorth because it is steam and also it will give us time for the Kidderminster Railway Museum Tour.
We will get off for a cuppa and to stretch our legs at Bridgnorth and catch the 12:35 (which should be the same rake of coaches) back to Kidderminster.
We arrive back at Kidderminster at 13:55, again we can stretch our legs, have a cuppa and a look around the shop/stalls.
We will then catch the 14:30 to Highly (arrive 15:19) were the guided tour of the engine house will take place.
After that you can stay with the group or wander off and explore the other stations on the last two trains of the day.

John :)
