I particularly like your Castle, John. It reminds me of a run I had behind one along the old GC as a (relatively) young serviceman in 1956 between Oxford and Leicester Central. It was a Sunday working and unusual for the Castle to have remained 'on' beyond Banbury, but it did. After a number of p-way slacks between Woodford Halse and Rugby including some single line working through Charwelton tunnel, it had a clear road after the stop at Rugby. We set off for Leicester and reeled off the twenty odd miles in just under even time. I only ever had this experience eclipsed once and that was when a V2 was in charge, but let not rivalry raise it's head :). The Castle came off at Leicester for a ubiquitous B1, if memory serves..
Your loco collection looks splendid and does you great credit.

Regards,
Roger.
