Here at Crymlyn A Shop Dai the Paint is not happy.
Dai Larfin, the store person has still not procured paint to complete the Peckett W4 locomotive so there’ll be no overtime this weekend for him.
The foreman is not happy either as he’s afraid that the Peckett Locomotive Company will invoke penalties for a late delivery.
So he has ordered Baldrick, the A Shop gofor, and Percy Veerance to make a start erecting the frames for another Peckett contract, this time a B1 class for the Alexandra Docks & Railway Co.
He is hoping that an early start on this contract will appease Peckett.
The frames and spacers are seen here before final adjustments to fit horn blocks.
