Bit shocking. The last proper modelling I did was back in August and that was only a short interlude from the famine that started in the spring. Damned poor show.

Otherwise much progress being made on the domestic DIY front. 2/3 the way through the significant rebuild job that the door and frame replacement programme has become. I'm on orders to not start anymore destruction and to make good current works prior to Christmas. Oh. Carry over to 2019 on the cards!

On the bright side the David Andrew's N Class kit arrived last month and I've added a solder station to my Christmas list. (ERSA 0IC1300 i-CON PICO Soldering Station 80 Watt).

Train room has been heavily used as either a bedroom or as a door painting workshop. Worth freeing up the space on both counts.

When in the carpentry business I could dream doors you would get a customer show them off to friends
and the phone would not stop for weeks I really hated those doors.

Just one left to do now... Door readied and glossed. Frame made and painted. It's the main bathroom so folk seem keen that a door stays on as long as possible. No open plan bathing...

don't forget the coat hook behind the door for the dressing gown - something never provided in hotel bathrooms for some reason. It might win a few brownie points from the Guv!

Years ago I had friends in the forest of Dean. Whilst extending their 2 up 2 down. The bathroom was part of the extension. It was fully plumbed in, with luxuries
Like door and towel rails etc. But, no roof. Was lovely on a frosty November night laying in piping hot water watching a crystal clear sky. Very strange though when raining or snowing. Was about 4 years before it was roofed.

Bubbles!

Of the plastic variety though!

Modesty was maintained (?) for several months with the wrapping stuff tied round some scaffolding when we did ours!

Pete.
