All the best with your personal challenge, it also couldn't be for a better cause. My father succumbed to it when I was 14. All the best to your nephew, kids are far stronger and more resilient than a lot of adults.

Sorry to hear that Peter.

I seem to have skipped the typical male mid-life crisis of buying a daft car or motorcycle and so, in my last year of being 40 something, decided that I needed to something memorable.

The Wolf Run was mentioned at work and I said yes without really looking into what it was. Muppet. Anyway it has forced me to get fitter, which in turn has improved well-being, and so it seemed silly not to do it for a good cause.

Both together are in order.
Commiserations for the situation, and Congratulations for dealing with it in so positive a manner !

Cheers Jason. My personal efforts are however pitiful compared to your extreme daily biking exploits! I feel a bit of a Strava fraud at times. :))

You know the standard response - photos are the currency on WT.

No1 wife will be in attendance with camera. Not sure how she'll tell me apart from all the other mud covered idiots! Mind you the lake swim should get rid of some of that.

Just waiting now for April to be the coldest on record. Might firm up the mud but the water might be a bit nippy!

Hats off to you Pencarrers.

If you can't find a sheep to chase then a young filly to follow should help you keep up...........Do you have a lycra all in one yet?

I believe they are available in Malachite.

What's happening with the trainset?

Rob.

It's currently buried behind the contents of the two bedrooms I'm decorating. New carpets arriving next Monday, so stuff can then start going back where it belongs.

The grain store was however worked on at the Stafford show and needs to be the next building I finish.

In other news I woke up this morning thinking it was Sunday. :(
