Hi  ,

I just wondered if anybody knew when the old RMweb will be switched off & where the old RMweb archive can be accessed that Martin Wynne (I think that's the right name) was setting up ?

Cheers Phill

As far as I am aware it will remain as an archive of information.

Thanks Pannier, It's just what was said when I was active on there was that it would remain open for a set period & then closed down :? . I hope you are right as there is a lot of interesting & useful stuff on the old forum which doesn't appear at first glance to be in Martins archive

Hi Phill,

My understanding was that it would be closed to fresh posts but still be available as an archive from 31st December last year - but I haven't tried posting to check although I do look at some of the work bench threads Jazz's in particular from time to time.

Just as Rob says... I think it meant 'open' as in still open to post on; everything is now locked (no you can't post anything new!) and so it is 'closed', but I don't think it will be closed down altogether; as Pannier Tank says it's remaining as an archive resource. ;)

It still asks you to "name an OO manufacturer" for "security" when you log in to it... !!! :headbang: :vista:
