Hi all
Thank you for the welcome, I am trying to upload an image of my finished USA tank, I hope it
works if it does I will post a few more, the USA tank is an old acorn kit, which was my first kit, I was told " you'll never make that ! " they were nearly right it too five years to finish, I have built a few other models during this time honest, just to make it interesting all wheels are sprung, and the loco has been back dated to when the locos were first seen in this country, hopefully I have caught the feel for the untouched loco.
Regards
Byron

The Oakville USATC S100 was the second kit started several years ago but not yet finished. All it needs is the cab detail sorting out!

Mine represents the loco after the first SR modifications but retaining the US fittings.

Hi Dave
Thinking about it, I think mine might of been an Oakville kit, it was so long ago I could be wrong

forget something !

Hi all,
With the S100 finished, well nearly are they ever? I came across a gentleman selling GE25 ton switcher kit. These were brought over during the D day landings for shunting just of the beach, although an american they were modified to be used with European railway wagons, hence the change of buffers,
The kit is from 2 doors down, really easy kit to make well designed well recommended, it is driven by a delrin chain to both axles it also has a working front and cab lights, just trying to find some Americans to drive the loco?.
All my ideas of locos seem to come from tourret allied locomotives, hopfully the loco looks a bit like the picture in the book.
