S7 Running Day

The S7 West Country Group test track will be at Clyst St. Mary Village Hall for a running day on Saturday May 12th. (Clyst St.Mary Hall - EX1 5BG - is half a mile off Junction 30 on the M5 on the A3052. Go straight over the first roundabout and the entrance is 50 yards further on on your left. )

No traders, no other layouts - just a running day on the test track. Coffee and tea available but bring/get your own lunch. There will be a a small charge to cover the cost of the hall and van getting the track there and back again - sorry.

Doors open at 10.00 I expect, but will confirm later.

Needless to say anyone with Scale Seven stock is welcome to come and give it an airing. Please let me know if you intend to come, nearer the time, so we can distribute running time fairly.

Kind regards - Andrew.

Hi Andrew,

Can't promise an attendance, but I shall stick it in the diary..

I really must get those sprung bogies sorted for your GW stock...

Regards,

JB.

I'll be there, that's given me a good deadline to aim for with the getting the 37 at least mechanically complete.

Thanks for the invite Andrew, can't promise to be there as I may have moved further afield by then ( house up for sale)
although I don't doubt I'll catch up with you at some of the other S7 meets, AGM etc.

Thanks for all the replies. The test/demonstration track is booked into Guildex at Telford in September 2013. With any luck we'll have built some turnouts for it by then! Since it will, we hope, be next to the S7 stand, we hope there should be plenty about which to chew the fat.

The Mark S7 Meeting's booked in for October 13th - at Mark Village Hall again. The test tack will be there too. More details nearer the time.
