Wrong; 1 from Harwell and 1 from Abingdon, roughly 8 miles each way, shortest. 7mmMick defo. the longest this year but we have had them from North of Edinburgh and West of Glasgow before now.

I'm really sorry I couldn't make it, even if it is a 3.5 hours drive each way, but I had to spend the weekend sitting in the gallery waiting for the Great British Public to beat a path to our door. Not many did, but we did have to compete with freak weather conditions. ;)

You are correct Graham, it is the (in) famous Headington shark.
As to why my avatar, why not. It's certainly more photogenic than my ugly old fizzog.

I believe one of those eight has signed up, a lad from Bristol, he left an Ixion Manning Wardle with me for conversion to S7, painting and weathering and purchased S7 wagon wheels :thumbs:. He also told me that he has track building lined up.

The roof decoration has been there since the early 198os, which is at least 9861 days - so you are thinking of which day?
