SG11 2JL

Albury is situated 1.5 miles north of the Little Hadham traffic lights on the A120
midway between the M11 and the A10. Follow the Albury Road to the village where there
is a signpost village pointing westward towards the hall. There is a reasonable amount
of car parking space in front of the hall.

The hall will be open for visitors from 10.00 to 16.00. The entrance fee is £3.00 which
includes tea, coffee and squash throughout the day. A selection of food will be on sale.

We will have Love Lane, as featured on WT, our present EAAG project up and running although, as ever,
there is still plenty to be done. Attendees are welcome to bring a loco to run, provided that it is DCC equipped.
Additionally Barry Norman and members of the Bury St Edmunds MRC will be bringing
their embryonic layout, Cobbolds Wharf. This is at the beginning of construction but
should be of interest and inspiration to those about to start building a layout.

Others in attendance with items for sale or to demonstate are;

Perfect Miniatures, Peter Hunt will be with us with his stock of new and secondhand
kits, parts and accessories, tools and books etc. He is promising some bargains including C&L components, Slaters Kits and Iawata airbrushes and compressors together witha good selection of part built wagons, coaches and locos.

all your questions about kit or scratch building and wheel turning.

plans.

Peter Insole, who features regularly on WT and is our ‘artist in residence’ on Love Lane will be pleased to talk about all aspects of colour, painting and architectural modelling. Apart from the work he has
completed on Love Lane he will also have examples of his other projects in Gauge 1 and even larger.

Is there anyone attending from the North West with a space in a car? Petrol money etc shared?
I looked and it is a bit of a nightmare by public transport and can't drive that far nowadays with this tinnitus!
Cheers

Sorry but it's too far for me in Preston - even by car it's a bit of a nightmare, 4hrs if it's clear but more likely 5hrs.
Cheers Adrian, you and me both! My sister has just moved down near to Mark but that doesn't help now!
I understand there is a north west 0 gauge meeting somewhere on the same day so shall look into that instead and see people at the AGM that I can get to as last year!
Thanks
Ian in Blackpool, 20 miles coastwards of Preston!

Cheers Lankytank! Just found it. I think I went last year, just had a look on Google Earth link and recognised the car parks all about the place. Cheers

How To 2

I've been a couple of times, it's easy to get to and never had any problem with parking. Standard sports hall atmosphere but always a really good range of traders and people to meet.
