Only one suggestion to add to the comestibles shelf, is an upstand at the front to stop stuff getting knocked off, been there and got beer all over my jeans, no it wasn't me that knocked the glass.

Perhaps cup holders then... With a pull out comestibles tray for a secret stash of chocolate, biscuits and pork pie.

Lol! A secret stash drawer, I’m not sure my carpentry skills are up to that, but it would make a splendid addition!
