It was interesting setting up on the Friday afternoon. A long queue waiting to get into the hall so Hi-vis Vestman said why not park over there and carry the stuff in if there is not a lot.
I did, no-one else around on the long spacious strip, but when I came back I saw a black Audi A3 type car parked closer than need be to the car.

When I went back to the car I saw some severe scratching to the car where the female traders wife was unpacking. So thank you for your calling card, I wish I knew which trader it was so I could send them the bill!
I wonder if they had CCTV on the yard outside?

A thoroughly good time spent chatting to a lot of folks for most of the weekend, Totally knackered by the time I walked through the front door last night, but a most enjoyable time.

Be warned though - two more Inspection Saloon kits purchased!

cheers

Hi Mickoo,

Talking to Shawn Kay at Easybuild yesterday while picking up my 121 Sandite, he said that the 101 was 'under development' - so you had better start saving.

cheers

Had a good time yesterday talking to WT er's and to MOK about his Stanier tank and also David Andrews with his Fowler tank, it seems that we have persuaded him to change his mind about not doing it (well done Richard). Slaters have done the Stanier tender wheels just waiting for Paul Stokes to receive them.

Had a great weekend in good company:)

I managed to pick up a few bargains & some bits & pieces I need for Withercombe. We also took some chassis I have made for Warships & Westerns so that these can get the radio control treatment:thumbs:.

I thought the layouts were very good this year, with plenty of blue diesels in action:cool:. I took a few pics with my mobile for the benefit of those who didn't make it........

The Lima conversion which some of us (including me!) were very taken with....

Drat, thought you'd forgotten about that  I've a bit of a blue phase going on at the moment, what with the Class 26 RTR, not sure if the 40 should follow or retain the original plan of green with small yellow panels. The 26 will be first as it'll be a re-gauge to S7 doors and tablet recess filled and sound fitted, quick model to get up and running ;)

It's a Mk1 Transit, isn't it? ;)
Is it me, or did BR Blue layouts outnumber the rest, this year? That'd be a first, surely? :)
:oops: Mk1 Transit is correct Jordan, i got confused with Ross talking to me recently about a BR yellow Bedford van. Oh well yet another senior moment:rolleyes: they seem to be coming around more and more lately.
