There are some really nice weathering techniques that would look really effective on your Hymek (your annual reminder :p  )

Jordon, nice NA locos, that motor and drive is superb - it reminds me of what we used to do with the old R/C boats.

Like eveyone else I suspect, I still slavishly follow the 'worm and gear' route, yet on some of my dad's SM32 battery locos, sun and planet type gears are used as the norm, with some lovely smooth motors and gearboxes (I picked one motor/gearbox combo up for a 'tenner' from one of the SM32 shows - it's a brute - maybe I will get to fit to an 'O' gauge loco sometime?).

I must say that all this darkside stuff is very tempting - perhaps I shall discover that dad is really Darthvader
NOW JUST HOLD ON A MINUTE does Phill know that there is a imposter acting as the recruitment officer. that i can just about handle BUT he's recruiting them to the DARK SIDE  :shit: . Phill have a word mate or i will have to issue detention and lines again

It looks superb, and I agree with Mike a bit sinister which adds to the appeal   You underestimate your abilities.
