072289EB-0629-4F7D-9483-8AEFA3C3ACE4.jpeg A new commission under way, this will essentially be a photo plank to photograph finished models.
3’ x 1’ x 8” tall.
50mm thick polystyrene base cut through its centre, I placed the two halves back together and marked the track, I then cut either side of the track at an angle to give the impression that the railway Line has been built up. No flat earth here!
Covered first in filler then with decorfill, once dry I’ll PVA then fill again with decorfill.
I’ll make up some sides out of 3mm ply to give it a nice finish and paint in with black board paint.
This will be a simple scenic finish using mainly static grasses with a few bushes.

I also collected the signal gantry from Jon, seen here posed on smugglers retreat! It will go on the Coryton Cliffs section and will face the opposite way.

I’ve ordered some more track ready for stage two of the Riviera line.
We will be at the Bristol show hopefully with the coryton cliff’s section in naked timber and polystyrene but with track in place and with smugglers retreat section fully finished.

I had two sheets of slaters stone wall left so these have been glued in place as well.
The trees are just for placement they will be replaced by MBR trees.
