Hello all,

one of the most expensive tools that I bought apart from my mill and lathe was the Hobby Holidays chassis jig and rolling road. But it was also one of the best investments as well.  Tip, if you model in 7mm get the scale 7 model then add 6BA washers between the rollers, bingo 32mm gauge  8).
The next time that your in Tesco, Asda etc (there are other suppliers) they have a granite chopping board for about £10, it would make a good surface plate
