Hi,

I found this image on Railway herald and was wondering what wagons are in the shot and who does a kit if them?

http://www.railwayherald.org/imaging.centre/showimage.php?image=137543

I think that there is a VGA at the back of the train behind the loco and obviously a 24t brake in the yard along with what appears to be a bogie bolster (not sure which type) but I'm not sure about the others?

As always all help gratefully received,

Mark
Mark,
I am no doubt wrong and someone with more knowledge will put you right, but the van immediately behind the loco is a continental numbered one, (haven't got a clue what type it is) the next is probably a VAA 2 axle vanfit, the bogie bolster is more than likely a BDA but could be a BEA, the open is probably a MFA.
Is this the station you are going to model, if so I wish you luck with the stone frets.

The Ferrywagon is what VTG referred to as an F1, which was the first type they introduced to the UK. The leading dimensions of them should be in the Ferry Vehicle diagram book on the Barrowmore MRG website. No-one does a kit of them at the moment.

The VAA is available as a resin kit from Model Express, but I don't recall it being brilliant. The BDA and OCA are available from PRMRP, and build up into reasonable models.
