7mm WCPR Hesperus

WCPR Hesperus
Finished at last after 4 years and a range of other project.

Built from a Redcraft (originally Gateneil) kit with all sorts of mods. The chassis is compensated and split frame on Walsall cast iron wheels.

Some of my weathering look a bit uneven in the photos but not so much in real life. It could be the lighting.

When I fist saw the name I thought it was going to be the KESR Hersperus.... until I saw WCPR.

Hi all
The chassis if as it may be of interest.


Mashima 1624 motor and Roxey Mouldings 40:1 gearbox. The GB fits in the ash pan and the motor into the firebox and just the rear of the boiler tube.
