Who's going to the 'BOGG'?

Aah - so you'll be wanting me to get a wriggle on with the inside motion and gearbox for the M7 then...?
Well I wouldn't say No :) No immediate rush, but you have a confirmed customer when you are ready...
The meet is usually 13:00 at the test track. See you there hopefully!
Steph
Cheers Steph, car is fixed, just wait to see what the weather does now....

They're not far off road roller tyres, and in the snow, narrow tyres will always win the battle..

Listening to Radio 4, a RED warning has been issued for southern Wales.. Surely the exhibition will be cancelled..?

JB.

Jon,

Actually Bristol isn't in Wales! Though I guess you actually know that...

The weather forecasts for Bristol actually don't look too bad for Sinday. It'll probably snow tomorrow morning, but that would appear to be it. The only reason to cancel the show will be commercial. I guess it'll all come down to how many traders pull out.

I'm still expecting to go although much will depend on my ability to get back into Filton on Saturday evening.

For the S7 aficionados, the idiots bringing the test track still intend to be there - with it. We're due to arrive on Saturday at 14.00, so I'll post something here on WT on Saturday evening if we failed. But if we succeeded, I'll be too busy drinking, so there'll be no post. Looking forward to seeing lots of Thunderers on Sunday! - Andrew

About two inches of snow so far at Yate, about ten miles away from the UWE venue for BOGG. I haven't ventured out yet but will be doing so in a hour's time so will see what the roads are like.

Pretty white in Bath, got H&C to school but the roads are very quiet and mostly white apart from vehicle tracks on the main roads. Lesley decided to use the train to get to work, she left the best part of two hours ago and just phoned from the train - still between Bath and Bristol:eek:

Something about a tree having to be cut in half, makes a change from leaves on the line I suppose:))

I'm just off to the shop but I don't expect to see many people today.

Still snowing here but now smaller slightly sleetish stuff.

Wenbridge is a white-out, a snap may follow.

It was probably more like four inches of snow according to the roof of my car. :) But all roads are passable with care and being cleared and gritted locally, so no great problem getting around.

Well, it's still snowing here. 6'' generally, and deeper where it's drifted. I've trudged into the town for bread, veg, and milk, so it's time for a cuppa. I'm not going anywhere for a few days.....

Very wise, I've picked up the boys, shut the shop and retreated to the playroom with a cup of tea and my accounts - deep joy:))

We didn't get our milk delivery this morning and the Co-op lorry fell over so rural Shropshire seems to be coping better than Bath at the moment.

...and I'll be in a rear drive BMW with big tyres..!!

JB.

Not even going to attempt it in my Auto Merc with 18" low profile 335 rears LOL, got 50Kg of coal in bags in the boot to help stop it swapping ends everytime it sees a snow flake!.

Shame as it'd of been nice to get out that way and see some folks.

Tower have announced that they're not going. I'm sure that others will follow. Perhaps other WT members might like to update the list as they hear of them. We can then assess if it's worth going. I'm glad I bought my ticket in advance to avoid the queues!

Tomorrows meeting of the North Wales & West Cheshire OGG has been called off - the hill in/out on the Mold road is quite daunting even in the dry weather.

cheers
