a good time was had by one and all, great to meet Debs but I was unable to to talk very much as it was very busy for me and I was only able to take photos as we set up and just prior to the end, but Debs camera never stopped clicking, so hopefully, there will be more shots to follow.

I enjoyed a lovely afternoon in great company; many thanks to the Wirral G-0-G for their warm hospitality......I even met an old 'B.R' buddy there, whom I hadn`t seen for nigh-on 38 years: a bout of delightfully-deep reminiscence ensued!

The test-track ran wonderfully and it`s a real credit to the hard-work and efforts of the group`s members......whom have made a lovely clubroom for themselves.
Their plans for a future "Wirral Prototype" exhibition layout are most interesting and promising!

I snapped lots of pics and HD video....way-too much to post here, but the pictures below, offer a taste of the afternoon`s running.

Having spent a very enjoyable week with the newborn, it's back to modelling and associated things, one of which is the Open Day this coming Saturday - so a gentle nudge to one and all who may be in the area - details as per the OP.

Meanwhile, it's catching up time on WT and a visit to the workshop.

Hope to see some of you on Saturday.

cheers

this last wagon is fitted with a battery powered light to give the impression of molten steel and was built by Ian Blackburn who owns the layout. The loco is DCC controlled and the lamp on the roof flashes.
