Basingstoke Show - this coming weekend, photos of Leavesden

Dog Star

Western Thunderer
Hi CME,

Glad you found the cinder track and that Western Thunder(er) was on shed, probably an X-day exam was due.  This Western is the work of Nigel Smith...  word from the Bothy is that he is contemplating another "1000", this time the livery is likely to be Golden Sand.

Your correspondent from the cabbage patch.

The Western looked very ex-works - a nice job of a RJH kit(?) :D
Sorry, not RJH...  JLTRT, both of them (and for those reading in black and white, the other Wizzo on shed last weekend was in green..  as was the Warship)

Does anyone know what happened to 'HW Yard' - I was told that it had been retired.....
I wonder if we will get to see it again under new management??
The answer to your first question is best addressed to the joint builders...  who do not wish to discuss the matter.  As for future exhibition of the layout, that is likely to depend upon some person offering to buy the layout.

regards, Graham

Hi Graham

I should have known better as they both had full cab detail :headbang: :)) ??? :-[

The ex Parkin kit once available from RJH,  which is now PRMRP does have cab detail kits available separately .
The Warship in the pics is a Tower/DJH kit I think

Not sure what you mean by your first statement.......who are the builders?

Is the layout up for sale then?

If you wish to continue this discussion then may we do so off-forum please?
