Driver figures

I ordered a couple of drivers from Heroes of the footplate yesterday and they arrived this morning. They dont look to chunky so I hope they will fit behind the Wessie desk. I would say they are more late 50's/early 60's than 70's
I also picked up a guard, who is a perfect fit for a brake van.

They could do with a 'tank top' :D actually it's suprising how driver fashions changed in the ten years from '65 to '75
You might need some spotters waiting to do a plate rubbing!

Plate Rubbing in the 70's..? The first time I saw that happen was with the Deltics (*pauses to wash mouth out on a Western Forum!!*) in 1981...
