G1 B4 bogie progress

After a 3d print spotted on ebay in 7mm I asked after a 10mm or 1/32 option. Well a 10mm test bogie created using Slaters F9112 three foot wagon wheels. It is a first test and a few things to adjust and hopefully I bogie centre mod to allow fitting to a Tower brass Mk1 that is glacially proceeding towards a 4 TC set.

Seems a sturdy build but hope to test on G1 layout at Warley this weekend. As there is only the floating bogie centre boss to give any flex.

At this stage of development it was shown to a couple of the good gents on the G1MRA layout on Saturday - liked and impressed on 3D print. Next stage in New year is for the developer to have a Tower brass chassis and create the necessary mods, more to come but please do not hold any breath, I do not want to be responsible of any "excess deaths."
