4mm Holt (ex-Delph) - A P4 layout under construction

Thanks for that, Tim. As you say, a bit before the time setting for the layout - mid 1950s. By then, there was still only the one goods train per day but rather more passenger trains and running till later in the evening. On a Saturday, the last Delph train left Greenfield at 11.11 and returned, ECS, at 11.52 PM.
I've just found a 1953 WT covering the area and it would appear that the Delph goods started at Oldham Glodwick Rd., arriving at Delph at 10.18 and departing at 11.00 - a bit longer than I thought. On the return journey, it spent over an hour at Greenfield.
The Greenfield box movement register shows the loco as a Lees Class 3 2-6-2 tank. Presumably one of the motor fitted locos used for the Delph Donkey passenger trains.
