Looking very smart there Dave, far better than the real things looked in BR days. Weathering would involve removing paint down to something grey (wood preservative?) on some raised panelling and a totally matt finish overall.
Re the bogie stepboards, the two support legs went behind the bogie with the step immediately below the axlebox. That said, I see you have fitted 8' Deepframe bogies. They should be the later Bulbiron type with flange top and bottom.
I do like those LNWR 'L' shjape grab handles. Are they commercially available or part of the kit? I should know the answer to this seeing as Adrian R. produced the original kit.
