PPD generally ask if etches are needed urgently and there is a premium to pay of course. But in general, PPD does offer a speedy turnaround. I can't even get a reply from PEC. G&H used to be quick as well, but it is ages since I ordered re-runs.

I've just been having some etching work done with PPD over the last month or so and Ann McCartan has been quoting three to four weeks delivery time and the etches have been arriving in that time scale. The etches are mainly minimum sized, single sheets so I'm not sure how they handle orders which are large size with multiple sheets.

From personal experience PPD prefer DXF I think, re-runs are usually quicker, probably a couple of weeks. Other formats are available. You do have to be careful with the DXF type as there have been so many and not all are acceptable. should be OK with 2007 version.
