Please note Railex 2012 does not fall on a bank holiday as the bank holiday has been moved into June for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, we decided it best to stay with our last weekend in May date.
•7mm Scale

•Groenen Creek, On30 Gauge, Crawley Model Railway Society, ‘Groenen Creek’ is an On30 logging layout based on American practice during the 1940/50s.

•Horton Regis, O Gauge, Epsom & Ewell MRC, A London & South Western Railway (LSWR) terminus somewhere on the east Dorset coast in the early 1900's.

•Inkerman Street O Gauge Micheal Byng LMS Society LMS station in war years produced as a series of articles im MRJ

4mm Scale

•Albion Yard, OO Gauge, Paul Marshall-Potter, 1950s through to late 1970s. The layout is operated with stock to suit time period, and is based in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.

•Birmingham Moor Street, P4 Gauge, Scalefour Society West Midlands Area Group, The layout represents the terminus side the station in either the transition period between steam and diesel traction or in the British Rail corporate era of the late '70s and early '80s.

•Brewhouse Quay, OO Gauge, Chris Nevard, This railway served Foster, Merriott and Dent Ales on the river Avon in the surburbs of Georgian Bath.

•Brinkley, P4 Gauge, Tony Comber, BR (Midland) main line with WR connection. Station, goods yard and motive power depot.

•Bron Hebog, OO9 Gauge, Cooper Hire MRC, It is a model of Beddgelert station on the rebuilt Welsh Highland Railway depicted around 2009 / 2010 when the railway was re-opened from Rhyd Ddu through Beddgelert and through the Aberglaslyn Pass to the south.

•Burntisland, P4 Gauge, East of Scotland 4mm Group, This was the Southern terminus of the North British Railway system in Fife and the North. Passengers and goods had to transfer to ferry boats which took them across the Firth to Granton.

•Canada Road, EM Gauge, Pete Johnson, Portrays a small exchange sidings on the fringes of a docklands area, covering a period 1960 to 1979.

•Clarendon, P4 Gauge, Leamington and Warwick Model Railway Society, The terminus of a long since defunct branch situated off the West London Railway north of Kensington Addison Road circa 1908.

•Diesels in the Duchy, EM Gauge, Damian Ross, It’s the late eighties/early nineties, where we have the remains of the Rail Blue era, large logo, Railfreight Red-Stripe and the beginnings of Sectorisation.

•Horsley Bank P4 Stephen Howe

•Llanastr, P4 Gauge, Rodney Hall, Set in 1914 this was the terminus of a branch at the head of the Rhymni Fach valley on the northern rim of the South Wales coalfield off the Brecon and Merthyr line between Newport and Rhymney.

•Penlan, EM Gauge, Sandy Croall, Situated on the LNWR's Central Wales Line between Craven Arms and Swansea Victoria, somewhere south of Pontarddulais circa 1910.

3mm Scale

•Yeoton Wharf, 14.2mm/21mm Mixed Gauge, Nick Salzman, This mixed broad and standard gauge set in north Devon between 1873 and 1892 on the London and South Western Railway.

2mm Scale

•Mini MSW, 2mmFS Gauge, Alan Whitehouse, Woodhead route set in South Yorkshire BR(E) in 1981.

•Wenford Bridge, 1:152 Gauge, John Greenwood, The real Wenfordbridge goods depot was the inland island terminus of the Bodmin and Wadebridge Railway opened in 1834. The line became well known to enthusiasts because the trains were pulled by one of three surviving Beattie 2-4-0 well tanks built in the 1870s and which survived to 1962.

I will be doing car park duties most of the weekend, so if you turn up and can't find a parking space please head to town, and catch the route master bus to the show, the forcaste is good for the weekend.
