Ooohhhh, now you've done it! :)

I mucked up indenting the rivet heads on the bunker sheet (both versions .. ) and the loco became a shelf queen, literally as the made up frames sit on a shelf at eye level daring me to do something with them.

So that's what I'll have to do, I bought some nickel silver sheet at the Southampton show with a view to making a replacement part so I have been thinking of it.

Many thanks for the kind comments. As I don't have a riveting tool I used a cheap set of pliers with a nail through one side of the jaws, and found it a bit difficult to get consistent size rivets, especially on the saddle tank.
I was disappointed to discover how cruel my camera is with close up pictures. Perhaps I have not set it correctly, but the instructions stretch to more than 200 pages, and seem to assume a first class honours degree in photography and camera technology as a starting point.

As an aside, has any one tackled the S&D cast metal version?
