Quality photography there.
Would I be right in thinking Shelfie2’s egg end boiler water tank and base is also a 3-d print?

Back from ‘Warnerly’ at the NEC where a cheeky few visits to Shelfie2 took place. A good show, building on the previous events and some really nice layouts there.
The layout threw a curved ball Saturday morning where a hidden solder joint broke after ten years!

I enjoyed watching Shelfie2 at the NEC...superb modelling.
I'm intrigued to your references to Shelfie3 ....do you have a track plan and any more photos yet?

Hi @Martin Gentle thank you re Shelfie2, I was genuinely surprised at the warm reception it got over the weekend.
Shelfie3 is WIP and despite running well and being fun to operate has not quite ‘popped’ in its presentation style which I’m still working on. There’s almost a books worth of thoughts, experience, experiments and I’m still not finalised.

This is a time lapse of a typical sequence, it’s three points, all large radius and depicts a truncated through station in the m62 corridor between 68 and 82’ish’. Primarily DMU operations with parcels and a very occasional oil train delivery reversal move. DCC conversion awaits, as does final Dingham uncoupling locations.

I hope you don't mind me asking, but what re the dimensions of Shelfie3? Oh, and is there a trackplan available?
If not, I to see more in due course.
