With a perceptive eye on the prototype, Mike Baker has, using hairspray, salt and pots of paint, transformed an ex-works 16 ton mineral wagon by giving it the customary rusty appearance we remember. Whilst his weathering is remarkable, so too is the model which rolled straight out of its box on to his workbench.
