4mm/P4
The finished P4 model exudes an oily sheen, achieved by spraying much-diluted Metalcote Gunmetal from half and inch away - the further the spraying distance, the flatter the finish. Details such as this take seconds to apply but make a word of difference to the appearance. I fancy I can hear the throb of the eight-cylinder Gardner engine and the hiss of brakes being released.
