Scale Model World 13-14 Nov 21

The annual IPMS show [aka Scale Model World] is now confirmed as taking place 13-14 Nov 21 at the Telford International Centre. A massive show normally occupying three halls of the TIC. Whilst not specifically railway orientated, there is no shortage of trade stands selling books, paints, tools, kits etc. Additionally there are the Special Interest Group [SIG] stands which are society stands specialising in particular eras, countries or type of kit - so you might see a table full of road cranes or spitfires or small marine patrol craft.
However, the main reason for going is just to luxuriate in the standard of modelling and finish whatever the prototype. Many of us might agree that military modellers are often better at realistic weathering and figure painting than railway modellers.
