Hello from Arun

Interestingly this site doesn't really like four letter signing-in names so yesterday I found that I could no longer log in and all my previous posts were identified as being 'guest'. I have re-registered using my full name which hopefully will solve those issues. Whether the system will allow me to edit previous posts is unlikely I think.

Very nice to hear from you Arun!

I still have those 1/32 3D prints of the Acton Shuttle you very kindly did for me - its time must surely be approaching.....

I look forward to meeting up with you again at a show - sometime soon I hope.

So many trains, so little time!

Of the five basic types of Q stock, the G/Q23 are the easiest to do as etch/casting combos as they have flat vertical sides and thus easier to marry up with an inset on a cast end. If you want to go down the etched sides route, let me know Simon.
