I know someone who has this loco, it possibly is from a kit but not to sure as the person who built this is now deceased.

Any information on this would be great
It lacks a few things but they csn be added

Looks a nice runner.
Attached is a pic of one of my early projects, bought partially built and missing some bits from eBay. Purported to be a Ravenscale kit but no packaging or instructions to support that.
It is weathered but is also covered in a layer of real dust, I must clean it up and give it a run.IMG_0862.jpeg

I remember talking to Jim about his GER tank range and if he was going to bring back the J67/69 and the J65 but he said not as it would slow sales of his J68 kit.

As above, I would say Connoisseur… great kits..

Totally agree. Back when they first arrived I built a fair few of his kits and I just wish all others were designed to the same basic standards I.e. they assemble as they should. Yes, you can upgrade them by replacing some details should you desire but there is none of this malarky of making replacement parts because things don’t fit.

Even though I no longer model in 7mm - at present - I’m still very tempted by a couple of kits currently being offered knowing that they would be nice to build.

For those working in 7mm scale Mark Wood now produces wheel castings for the GER J tanks in 15, 12 and 10 spoke.
Also Slaters have a 15 spoke wheel now introduced recently.
