it is never easier to brush paint a chassis    All that brake gear = ruined brushes

Lima mineral Wagons Update.....

Having cut off the coupling boxes. File them fluss.

Nice one Steve , there coming along While your at the dismantled stage look at detail pics for added detail to add to the underframe and mark on the chassis. EG vac cyl etc

The hole that's left - after removing the Lima coupling box - is very handy for fitting the spring & split pin on the 3-link hook...

I've purchased 3 more wagons, off eBay, a few weeks ago. Well someone was selling them at £10 each, 2 of 5 sold at £10 each, so I sent a message after listing had finished & bought the remaining 3 + postage for £20. A result as I'm on a limited budget.

Wheels & couplings will be sought at Telford.

My laptop still down, & can't seem to upload on iPad, so gonna try my daughters laptop to post some pics. Fingers crossed.
