Here we go

Marked the ends where needs sanding. Then proceeded to sand

Taking off the nobbly bits.

Filler applied & rubbed when dry. More filler applied where not smooth

Then sanded smooth.

Headcode has been sanded down & the end has had a first coat of yellow

The doors needed altering as the handle was halfway down the door & we needed it at the top.

These were filled sanded & cut. Then glued filled & sanded into place

I dont like to throw a spanner in Steve, but before you go too far I'd mention that 26035 was an oddity - it acquired a replacement engine room door on one side:

I know that's a post-refurb shot, but it's the first decent image I could find - it did acquire it very early in its life, in fact before the class 27s came on stream.

Looks good so far Steve, still quite a lot involved is'nt there? reminds me of lima bashing although a lot less to do, like the door alterations you've done too:thumbs:
