4mm Workbench

Whilst the railway room takes shape, I’ve managed a few little projects.
Currently on the bench is a Connoisseur kit for an AA3 permanent way brake van I bought at Expo EM spring last year. I’d like to have finished construction by the time I get to this year’s show. I’m using Bill Bedford sprung W irons and have ordered some of the Rumney models axle boxes and springs to complete.
Other things to have passed through the works are a Coopercraft W5 cattle wagon and a Peco/Parkside van.
Lastly a Bachmann Collett Goods conversion with Ultrascale drop in wheels. Slightly unusual as it has a ROD tender and will be renumbered as one of the engines shedded at Westbury. I don’t have any evidence of one ever reaching the Cheddar valley line but I like it.
Not very exciting in the scheme of things but it’s nice to keep my eye in!
