Wrong shade of blue but close enough mate a true convert if ever i saw it blue, blue, blue, blue, blue, blue, blue, blueneed i say more

Ref "wrong shade of blue"; seriously, I had trouble getting my camera to register the blue anywhere near it's actual shade - it's actually a bit darker than this. On "auto" settings the camera saw it as very much lighter than this.
I've heard of similar problems photographing BR Blue models. Is it something about digital photography that blue is such an awkward colour to get right? :scratch:

I struggle with getting good pics indoors without spending a fortune on lighting, but outside BR blue & any other colour for that matter is fine, so even for workbench type pics I take the model outside for much better results.
