no sound chips?
Being the originator of the video, let me (belatedly) answer!
All the locos had sound chips, but as you can imagine in a busy hall packed with modellers nattering away, the sound effects would have been drowned out - not to mention the editing making it even worse. That's why I substituted the annoying copyright free music.
The video quality, as already mentioned, suffered from a lot of digital noise. The lighting was indifferent, the layout placed under a large and bright window, and wanting to retain a good depth of field meant I had to boost the ISO to compensate for the small aperture I used. (Pause for whooshing noise to pass.)
Given time, I'd have had the window blocked, and set up the video lighting rig, but that would have inconvenienced everyone else present, so I ran with what I could do. I learned a lot from that little video, mainly how hard it can be to make a story from random movements, and shoot without proper lighting.
