Air Ministry tank in retirement

We had a ride on the KESR on Bank Holiday Monday and while waiting for the train at Bodiam, I took a few snaps of one of Shell BP's many Air Ministry class A tank wagons conserved there. The livery applied is an approximation of the 1960s version of the class A scheme, but is a preservation repaint. Note that this wagon, and the similar class B (ex-ESSO) next to it, have both lost all their solebar plates so I can't provide further details.

I hope the detail views are useful: I'd normally refer to the Vintage Carriage Trust database for further details but whoever assessed the vehicle or did the data entry was clearly referring to a different wagon that had gained bottom discharge and steam heat tubes. It's possible that this was a mistake for the fitting of a through vac' pipe in preservation but this seems improbable.
