Hi all
I've followed Mr King here so I can keep up with his awesome modelling efforts
I myself am trying to currently build two layouts
Second one is a small portable layout for my son, very train set twin line called Churchill because it will have a church on a hill. He wants to take it to the Boston MRS show in September so I need to get a wriggle on
First layout is mine, but very none operational currently as I decided to rebuild one side approx 3 plus years ago but life, work, family & finances have really slowed the progress
It's a 16x8ft centre operational with 3 sides scenic. DC operated and very GCR London extention inspired called Castle Abbeydale
It's set as a heritage line, with a junction that connects off scence to NR so I can run whatever I like, but I lean heavily towards LNER
One side of the layout has a 17 arch viaduct and the other will have a station in a walled cutting. Connecting these has a large hill with a ruined Abbey on it and the other has a cutting with a junction
If I can dig out some photos that are worthy of sharing I will, but as most of the layout is currently junked up with tools, materials and other stuff that seams to find its way into the layouts home, do not make it very photographic
Do come along to say hi at the Immingham Show next month when I'll be assisting Mr King
