Alvechurch Model Railway Show Saturday 13 July 2019

Hello all, fancy a trip out to see like minded modellers? The annual show at Alvechurch is on 13 July this year. It's a general show with an O gauge theme. O gauge layouts are: East Dean by the 82G group, Alan Searle with Burwarton, Nelson Keen with the East Midlands O gauge test track and Bob Newman's Tunnel Cutting. Plus there will be vintage tinplate layout. There are show you how sessions about weathering, etched brass kit construction, figure painting, card kit construction and bespoke model wagons. Traders are there to sell you tools, rolling stock and books. Everyone is invited to come along and run something on the test track O gauge please). Please come along and support your local show. Entrance is £3 for adults with any profits going to the restoration of the church building. St. Laurence Church is less than five minutes walk from the railway station.

This really is a fab show, lots to see in a very nice setting. The food was very nice too. It is on again next year and I thoroughly recommend it.
