American HO Stock Auction

Just picked this up on another forum - an auction of the estate of a railway modeller and model engineer. The railway items are American HO. The estimates seem quite low so could be worth following if you are interested. Watch out for the buyers' premium of 24%.

The model engineering estimates look quite tasty as well although I suspect that you might be very lucky if they stayed within the estimates.

Quite so - no idea on the American HO but the engineering items look interesting, if they go for the estimate then they will have a bargain.

An operation BCA jig borer I would expect £1000-£1500 depending on accessories - however not convinced from the photos this is operational. The motor is mounted to the side of the main machine frame and there is no obvious link to the original belt drive system. Buyer beware on this.

The Pollard Drill is intriguing - some extremely solid castings, especially the drill head, but speeds of 2700rpm to 18000rpm?
