An Evening With Andy Duncan to find out how he turns bits into kits

After the success of the first Gauge O Guild 'An Evening With' , booking is now open for the next session which is scheduled for 26th February by Zoom at 20:00.

Andy Duncan will show us video footage of the process required to turn an idea for a model into a kit.

Starting in the workshop with brass bits, a master is created in order to make a mould.

The mould is made in the casting shed and the casting process takes place here before returning to the workshop so that the newly produced parts can be prepared and packed ready to be boxed as a kit.

That reminds me of a story!

There was a sort of modelling club competition featuring me many years ago. First prize was an evening with Yours Truly and second prize was TWO evenings with me!

The old ones are the best!
