Another new arrival

Andrew Campbell

Western Thunderer
Hello everyone,

I'm Andrew Campbell. I live near Frome and my interests centre on the GWR in Somerset before the Great War.

I stupidly allowed myself to get lumbered with organising the S7 West Country Group's open day so I've also posted more details of that on the "Exhibitions" section. We just finished wiring our new S7 demonstration/test track (21'6" x 17'6")  yesterday and ran stock for the first time. No pointwork yet, just two complete working circuits. The outer one has a minimum radius of 8', the inner one a bit less. Pointwork etc will have to wait. It's first outing is at Mark on October 8th, so come along and see if it works after we've taken it apart, driven it ten miles and put it up somewhere else (fingers very firmly crossed).

Best wishes - Andrew.

Welcome Andrew, there really is quite the S7 presence here, I think it might be the unofficial S7 forum of choice currently..!

Welcome Andrew,
My little prompt worked then ;D
As JB say's S7 is quite prominent here, it's a great forum not just for the S7 element but covering the whole spectrum of railway modelling and all regions  and the banter good too :))

Hello Andrew, and welcome.  I'm another of the S7 gang that hangs out on here and will see you at the open day in October.
