Hello.

My name is Julia and I am another 2mm modeller.

I am currently building a 2mm layout of Highclere on the old Didcot, Newbury, and Southampton Railway set in the 1950's / 1960's but am also known to dabble in other bits and pieces like 2mm Narrow Gauge on 6.5 an 4mm gauge track.

I love creating things and have dabbled in many technologies like laser cutting, etching, and 3D printing to create my models. I have to use my skills as a designer somehow!

I am guessing some of you know who I am from other sites, let me figure this forum out and I will get some photos posted...

Please keep Jerry and Pete in order, they were beginning to feel a little lonely in the corner known as 2mm FS world.

Any discussion about anything can soon enough deteriorate into mayhem, especially if there is a mention of colour or Tiffin, so please just join in.

Hi Julia,
feels a little odd welcoming you here as I only re-enroled myself a couple of days ago but welcome anyway. I went to start the ball rolling in the 2mm Lounge earlier with a heads up for the 2mm AGM in a couple of weeks but I'm afraid my legendary computing skills let me down again. Doooh!

Just been down to the new lounge, nicely decorated in SDJR Blue... Not a comfy chair in sight, not that the absence of seating matters since all of the 2mm fraternity are out at play.
