Before I cut anything, I use a tool that joins all the lines together within each layer. This makes a number of routes to cut continuously. So the laser cuts a blend of x and y. I tried splitting the x and y by layer but I didn't notice a speed difference to make it worth while doing so.That's good!
For us who know nothing about lasering - does the machine cut all the X axis and then all the Y axis, or does it do a blend of the lot as it travels over the workpiece?
I will make a video later so you can see how it works.
