Steph Dale
Western Thunderer
Evening all,
I'm developing a remarkable level of paralysis by prevarication around the proverbial Class 22. The JLTRT kit looks a peach (even if the prototype doesn't, discuss) and I'm intrigued with the possibility of fitting a model with genuine, prototypical cardan shaft drive.
However, I've realised there is an awful lot of variation in the fifty-ump locos and so buying a kit seems to leave me open to a potential foul-up. To make matters worse, I'd quite like to do one of the original pilot scheme locos as modified with headcode boxes and running in blue with a small yellow panel.
Have I finally lost my marbles and / or are there any reasonable drawings of the pilot scheme locos that I might be able to find?
Any reasonably polite responses would be welcome although my head is already hurting from two monster threads on the other place. So please treat me kindly.
Cheers,
Steph
