We at the Cradley Heath Model Railway Club are holding our third exhibition on Saturday 17th October 2015. See our Exhibition Web Page for all of the necessary information regarding this year's show.
This year sees 15+ layouts, 6 traders and several demonstrators attending our show, which is based around several rooms in the Cradley Heath Community Centre. In addition to these, there are several attractions that are new to us this year.
While the last two years, exhibitors have used our club room as their rest room, this year another room has been secured for an exhibitors rest room, meaning that we are opening our club room to the public. Visitors can see what it is like to be a member of the CHMRC, as well as being able to try out any newly purchased locos on our resident layouts. (at the moment, that is limited to 00/HO gauge locomotives, but provisions may be made for other scales in the due course)
Another special attraction this year will be a half-scale model traction engine .
Our final new feature this year has coincided with the launch of our new website @ www.cradleyheathmrc.co.uk New for 2015
Our on-the-door entry fees are the same price as last year, which are as follows:
Adult - £4 (Ages 15 and up)
Child - £3 (Ages 4 to 14. Ages 3 and under go free)
Family - £10 (2 adults and 2 children)
Address:
Cradley Heath Community Centre
Reddal Hill Road
Cradley Heath
West Midlands
B64 5JG
Carpark Postcode: B64 5JY
Car parking is once again based around the Whiston Industries complex near to the exhibition. It is free of charge and stewarded all day. Disabled badge holders can use the car park at the front of the venue, although spaces are limited.
We look forward to seeing you there, and if you have any queries, please feel free to reply on this thread, or send us an email to chmrc@hotmail.co.uk where we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible.
