Osgood Western Thunderer 14 June 2013 #2 It's not very hygienic (for you) - the scum on top is emulsified hydraulic oil......

Bob Western Thunderer 14 June 2013 #8 Welcome Neil, As Dogstar said, we do love plenty of piccies Do be careful though...........I joined as a 3mm scale steam-era modeller and now find myself drooling over larger scale blue diesels.

N Neil Sullivan Guest 15 June 2013 #12 Thanks for the welcome one and all. Certainly been enjoying having a look around! I think I will stick to the 7mm here, a long term project for me of a small clay branch. Will post some piccies as and when. First big decision tho is do I treat myself (retirement pressy) to a JLTRT 25 pr wait to see what the Heljan one will be like!

Pugsley Western Thunderer 15 June 2013 #13 Hello Neil, welcome to WT! Personally, I'd wait to see what the Heljan one was like, and then buy the JLTRT one
